Fifth Grade

Fifth grade at Lombardy Elementary marks the final chapter in the Elementary years. As 5^th graders, we continue to follow the Lombardy School expectations of being respectful, responsible, cooperative and safe as we work towards the independence that will come in Middle School. We learn the importance of overcoming obstacles, picking ourselves back up after setbacks, and being leaders for our younger students. We use the 7 Habits to improve ourselves and understand others as we focus on the Growth Mindset. Our experiences in the classroom are focused on District curriculum, Common Core State Standards, and preparation for the Smarter Balanced assessment. As 5^th graders, we are inspiring a community of lifelong learners and leaders.
