Lombardy is happy to offer several after school activities to its students. The wonderful Lombardy PTA coordinates with several outside agencies to bring some exciting opportunities. The dates of the clubs and their meeting days/times are available through information sent by the PTA. Keep an eye out for emails and papers regarding the club information, as it changes from year to year. You can also reach out to the PTA and request more information.
Cheerleading
In addition to the basketball team, Lombardy offers a cheerleading club for 4th and 5th grade cheer students. The students meet once a week to rehearse their routines and perform at the basketball games. The Lombardy cheer squad offers a physical, exciting, and fun approach to learning the basics of cheer. For more information on the cheer squad, contact Ms. Dill or Mrs. Mulligan.
Elementary Basketball League
Lombardy Elementary participates in the BSD Elementary Basketball League. Lombardy 4th and 5th grade students have the opportunity to participate in athletics, learn good sportsmanship, and learn to balance schoolwork and extra-curricular activities. There is a boys team and a girls team, both of which are coached by parent volunteers. Both teams operate from the end of November through mid-February. Practice is held after school, and most games are on Saturday mornings. Lombardy and the PTA host a day of games that serves as a fundraiser and requires volunteers for concessions, running the clock, and score keeping.

Girls on the Run
Lombardy works with a program called Girls on the Run. This fun, energetic group focuses on positive self image, physical health, and mental health. The girls meet once a week and we encourage all young girls to inquire about joining. No matter if you are a seasoned runner or just looking to start, we'd love to have you.
Mrs. Henning and
Ms. Dill are in charge of this club.
